In this article we will explain our blog’s social share feature. Have you noticed the floating green button that seems to scroll with you as you are reading a recent post? Just look up and to the left corner of this screen. See it now? That is our social share icon. If you click it a menu will drop down and display a few popular social networking sites.
Now, choose any of the social networks and click the icon. If you are logged in at say… Facebook, the link should share automatically with your friends and followers.
In a future article I’ll write about the plugin we use to get this social share icon to appear. But for now, let us know what you think about the feature. Is it intrusive? Is it user friendly? Are there too many steps to share an article? We want to know it all.
